We got to the Holiday Home at 4 Oclock. The owners showed us around. There are so many bedrooms Rafe’s cuddly toys could have a bedroom each! It’s a lovely spacey house, with a big, glossy kitchen; supplied all the cooking utensils you ever wanted. Only 1 dishcloth though, so we got out of the washing up The conservatory was my favorite room, and I spent most of my time in there.
When the owners had left, we played the DS . After many days of no connection, dad managed to get it to connect I got a Lv.100 Latios and a Moltres.
We had roast veg, super spicy sausage and pasta for dinner (in the conservatory) Then we went for a Walk. We looked for a trail marked on the map. I don’t think anyone has gone down it for decades; it’s completely overgrown with nettles and brambles We started down it, but had to turn back. On the path, I found a huge multicolored snail. When we got back to the house, we had pudding- Date Flapjack (My favorite pudding!!) I’m actually quite looking forward to trying out the new beds too (“Yawn” “Yawn”)!
We finished our Herbs Lapbook in the morning by completing the last Minibook- Yarrow. After Lunch, we assembled the Lapbook.
We also played football. I fell over and cut open my knee. Luckily, I managed to stop the fall with my hands.
I relaxed in the shade on a comfy blue chair for half-an-hour, and Rafe wandered around saying “I don’t know what to do,” like he often does.
At 4:30, we went in and played the Ds: Pokemon black. I was wondering what deal I’d put up on GTS, when a Shiny Ho-Oh popped out of it’s Poke Ball!! I also received a Shiny Moltres and a Shiny Groudon through GTS Negotiations
We had Pastitsio and Salad for dinner (one of my favorite meals), then fruit and homemade yoghurt for pudding. What a summery mealtime!
