We had a nice big lay in. Then we had a huge feast of a breakfast- first, yoghurt with cereal and fresh fruit, then scrambled egg on a toasted bun. Half an hour later, we drove down to Long Melford. We checked out the curry-house there. It looked as if they had moved into a closed down Woolworths, but not bothered to re-paint to make the atmosphere more Thai and peaceful. We had a look in some charity shops. I found a chicken cooking book, which I quite liked- but most of the recipes had milk and wheat in, and besides- it was £3! (I’m a bit tight
)
After lunch, mum took me and Rafe to Lavenham. It was very posh and had lots of very old buildings. I took lots of pictures of the “Incredible Leaning Houses”. Before leaving, we went to an exhibition at the Church. The art was good, but it was extremely expensive!
At home, we played the DS, had dinner, then played a game of Carcassonne until 10 o’clock! Nearly Rafe’s latest night. Just half-an-hour less than Solstice Night.
