Artwork of my Lifetime:

In my opinion these three pieces of art are probably the best art I’ve ever done. What do you think?

  1. I like the Mondrian Turtle best… great use of striking colours and not too “overwhelming” because you kept the detail on the shell. Well done!

My biggest advice if you want your own game cards etc published would be to practice drawing as often as you write … the more practice you do, the easier you will find it to express on paper the image that’s in your head.
Don’t worry about making lots of mistakes…just have a go!
These are good, but if you want to see improvment then practice lots and lots and lots :)

      • No matter what you want to do, practice your craft, get experience..
…actor? queue up to take part the drama club, school plays , local community group…but make sure people see you are seriously interested and committed. Take small parts as they lead to bigger ones…do your best!
        Good Luck!

  2. I agree, turtle truly is the better of the three. That could actually be used as some kind of logo or in some advertisement for some indie festival hahaha

  3. Of those three, the turtle is my favourite because of the vivid colours and the symmetry. Doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate the other two, but hey, I was asked to vote :-)

    • Thank you for voting. The Mondrian Turtle is definitely my 2nd favourite of those 3 pieces of art, but Edge of the World (the penguin one) is nothing special; it’s just WHSmith colouring pencils that cost about a fiver for a set of 30 and I only spent about 30 minutes on the piece, whereas I was doing the Rocky Cliffs for hours at least.

By the way, you’re my new top commenter :-)
