Shadowcat’s my favourite, followed by Cyclops. Wolverine might not even break my top 10, to be honest. There might be a degree of hype backlash – he’s so popular it makes me like him less – but he’s also traditionally a much more cynical character than I gravitate to.
Poor Jubilee still has no votes. She’s a really cool character, too.
I do notice that your list consists of the cast from the ’90s animated series. I’m guessing that’s not a coincidence. That was an awesome series.
I don’t really know much about Shadowcat, because I haven’t watched anything with him in it. Jubilee deserves few votes in my opinion; I think she’s a bit pathetic
Yeah, Cyclops is cool…
but not as cool as Wolverine
Erm, Shadowcat’s a her. And she’s awesome. She was Jubilee before Jubilee. A young, female X-Man providing a different perspective than the older and more experienced members of Chris Claremont’s cast.
Jubilee’s actually really cool. She was always a bit bratty, even in the comics, but she was also very brave, and extremely clever. She wasn’t book-smart, but she was street-smart. And her fireworks seemed like kind of a lame power, but those pafs packed a whole lot of power. She had a couple of brilliant issues in the ’90s, especially Uncanny X-Men #303. That was an incredibly emotional issue.
It still annoys me, a little, that Shadowcat never appeared in the ’90s animated series. Wiz-Kid made an appearance. Wiz-Kid. But they couldn’t throw in Shadowcat, one of the most popular characters in the history of the X-men? Gah.
Yeah. Shadowcat certainly sounds cool, but I’m afraid nothing’s gonna convince me that Jubilee’s cool
Just wait until I reach the late ’80s and her introduction. You’ll learn to like her. She had a knack for getting into really touching issues. Uncanny #297 has wonderful interactions between her and Xavier, for example.
Such a tough poll, but even then as flujan said my choice(s) weren’t on there. I probably would have picked Nightcrawler or Colossus. Maybe even Havok. As it is I’m going to go back and choose Jean Grey. Maybe. So tough.

Gambit for sure!
Yeah. He’s cool! He’s my 2nd of 3rd fave.
Thanks for voting!!

Is Magneto a good guy though… more of a bad guy in my opinion, though he did help found the X Men?
I guess I just like the bad guys! Hahahahahahaa

Me too- especially Apocalypse and Magneto
