Much Ado About Nothing Play Night 1

Phew! I was so nervous the first time I went onto the stage yesterday, but really it went pretty well.

I remembered all my lines, I said them with good volume, I didn’t mask anyone, and I managed to;

1. Get a fake flower safety-pinned to my shirt in the 20 seconds I had. (For the wedding scene).

2. Move the sofa at the right time and quick enough, twice. (Also in the wedding scene).

Which were two things I was a bit anxious about.

And everyone else did well too. No one forgot their lines at all, though the sound went a bit glitchy on Balthasar’s song.

And the strange thing is… after the first scene I was on stage, I felt very comfortable, not at all nervous and had no stage fright. I found it exciting, and I can’t wait to do it again tonight!!!

  1. Aack! Look how young RSL is!! It took me a while to warm up to Catherine Tate, but by then end of her run, I think she was my favorite Companion. Congrats on your stage success!!
