Phew! I was so nervous the first time I went onto the stage yesterday, but really it went pretty well.
I remembered all my lines, I said them with good volume, I didn’t mask anyone, and I managed to;
1. Get a fake flower safety-pinned to my shirt in the 20 seconds I had. (For the wedding scene).
2. Move the sofa at the right time and quick enough, twice. (Also in the wedding scene).
Which were two things I was a bit anxious about.
And everyone else did well too. No one forgot their lines at all, though the sound went a bit glitchy on Balthasar’s song.
And the strange thing is… after the first scene I was on stage, I felt very comfortable, not at all nervous and had no stage fright. I found it exciting, and I can’t wait to do it again tonight!!!
Congratulations. I just had to check your location. Much Ado about Nothing recently opened near me in Nashville.
Aack! Look how young RSL is!! It took me a while to warm up to Catherine Tate, but by then end of her run, I think she was my favorite Companion. Congrats on your stage success!!
Thank you very much.
I take it you mean Doctor Who Companion? If so, my favourite was definitely Rose.
Yah, Rose was good too. And “Amelia Pond” has a nice ring to it.
I like the name Amelia Pond, but I didn’t really like her as the character she was.
Congratulations!
Thank you so much
