You’re very welcome
Happy new year
I had no idea they had such a diverse collection of lego’s. Interesting.
LEGO LEGO LEGO LEGO LEGO LEGO.. sorry. just got a bit carried away there.
Lego ROCKS!
Haha
It sure does!
My nine-year-old son loves Legos. Looking forward to reading more of your blog.
Paul
Thanks!
Our girls collected Lego sets for years. Once they’d satisfied themselves with the original design, they dumped them into the common pool and made up others. The stories and games they made up with them were creative too. One of them grew up to be an architect, and I think Legos had a lot to do with that. Those Legos are now in a big wooden chest (other than the few that got lost or broken), waiting for the next generation.
You might enjoy this short video history of Legos if you haven’t seen it already; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NdDU_BBJW9Y Best wishes! – Paul
That’s great! I’d love to be an architect!
My best story ideas come also from playing with LEGO. The idea of Rock for example (http://thebatamonblog.wordpress.com/rock-revenge/)! I’ve now written two stories around the character and have planned in detail 2 more, and have ideas for several more after that!
And thanks! I’ll watch that vid later!
yea turtles!
I am sure my son will want these too and I will have to make sure to avoid stepping on the various pieces.
Hope this post was helpful to you!
All the new themes look pretty cool, and I’m really excited about them. I think the Ninja Turtles theme will be a real big hit, though I’m more interested in the other two.
That is just too cool Starscraper. I have one question for you though have your been to Lego Land. When I lived in Germany I would make my way there at least twice a year besides other great European destinations like Trier/Saarbrucken and the Tulip Gardens…SP friend of KK. ps She and I live in the same town.
No, I’ve never been to LEGO Land. It sounds good though.
oh you really must have your family take a holiday there you would love it. Even as a adult and a soldier I loved going there. Every time I went they had rebuilt the entire thing to fit whatever theme was for that year. It is simply amazing the imagination the staff has there. I think sometimes it was better than all the trips I made to Disneyland with my family when I was your age.
Wow! They rebuild it every year to fit in with the latest themes! That’s awesome!
that was the way it use to be. you should Google it better yet here is the link for Lego Land in the UK.

Always grateful to Reblog…
I am always fascinated with these Posts. The imagination they always bring to mind, could it be that I had spend much of my childhood playing with Lego, spinning my own tales.
Toad
Thanks again Toad!!
My kid would have died for TMNT Legos! He’s twenty-five. I’m getting him some for Christmas anyway.
Ha ha.
It’s a great idea by LEGO; awesome figures too (haven’t shown us the sets). Going to be quite a hit, I’d guess.
