Here is a poem I wrote a few days ago! Hope you enjoy it! (BTW… More symbolism
)
A beautiful photograph of a wild rose taken by my Dad
-
The dark raven swoops
To rip the beautiful rose
From its once firm stem
-
And as it passes
Tears deep into its
Valiant Lupin’s blue, blue buds
With devastating talons
-

Very nicely said and outstanding shot of the rose. I agree with Susan, I don’t see it as sad. Just nature being natural.
Thanks!
And the pic was taken by my Dad. I agree, It’s very lovely!
And I think that’s a good way to see it.
Very Edgar Allan Poe-ish. Love it.
Thank you!
Nice picture and poem
Thank you!
Very nice poetry. Enjoy your posts.
Thank you!
You sure have fancy wild roses over there. Oh. I did not see the poem as sad. Maybe because adore ravens and the rose image is so beautiful. And talons are designed to devastate. One devastation is also a sustenance.
Did you watch that happen?
I love ‘one devastation is also a sustenance’! Very true!
And no, I didn’t watch it happen!
Thanks for your comment, Susan!
oh sad…and a nice photo
Thanks Nightlake!
