Photographing for New Rap Cover

I have been photographing for the cover of my latest rap “Bright and Early”. I photographed my bedroom clock to fit in with the line of my first verse “Get up about six-oclock/Cos time is tickin’ away, tick tock tick tock” and the alarm bell merged into my beat near the beginning of the rap.

Here’s my finished cover and underneath, my new track!

Help Needed On Which Simpsons TV Series To Buy!!!

I’ve been reading some Simpsons comics lately, and I was thinking that maybe I’d get a Simpsons DVD with some of my leftover birthday money (£40). I never knew there were over 30 series tho

Now, maybe the obvious thing to do would be to start with 1 and work my way through the series  , but from a few reviews I’ve read, the first 5 or so series aren’t all that  . I thought that maybe I’d start with Series 11 or 12?!

Which series do you advise I purchase? Which series was best in your opinion?

Writing A Fantasy Novel + The Kane Chronicles: “The Red Pyramid”

I am currently planning the plot and characters of a fantasy novel set in a magical new world with lush green hills, bountiful crops and blooming forests. Both Elves and Dwarves are included in the tale, as well as many of my own mythical beasts, which I have created many ideas for (I may hold a vote sometime in the near future, to decide which beasts I will use in the novel!)

I apologize for the lack of posts recently, but I have been spending a lot of time writing plans, as well as reading a book called “The Red Pyramid”, written by Rick Riordan, the author of one of my favourite book series: Percy Jackson. (I’ll have a review for this soon!) I so have done little art, poetry, and what with the snow we’ve not been out much, but It has thawed now, and we may be going to Wolferton on Friday, so maybe I’ll have some new photos to show you! :-)

Yesterday, I wrote a short story (First one I’ve written successfully, i.e. without ditching the “Short Story” idea and trying to turn it into a novel). I wrote it for my English, and I’ll probably be sharing it sometime over the next few days! :-) It’s about how a Gladiator named Claudius defeats a mythical monster (Of my creation), and gains his freedom from the arena early… but I’ll say no more. Maybe I’ll share it with you tomorrow!

Here is a photo I took yesterday called “Gollum Vs Smeagle”, depicting a scene ( suggested by fellow blogger and author, Charles Yallowitz:

If anyone else wishes for me to take a photograph depicting another of your favourite scenes from the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy, I would be happy to do so! Just leave a comment here on my post: What’s your Favourite Scene from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy?

What’s Your Favourite Scene From The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy???????

Having started watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy all over again, I was inspired to take some pictures based on scenes from the Lord Of The Rings. This scene is based on where, in the third film in the trilogy, the Orcs attack Rohan, smashing through the doors with a battering ram, blowing up the walls with explosives, and last but not least, climbing up the walls with ladders. The ladders behind the battlements are King Theodon, Haldir (But I usually play him as Legolas, cos Legolas is cooler :-) ), and Gimli the dwarf (He’s awesome! Lol :D)

Orc Climbs The Wall

This was one of my favourite scenes in Lord Of The Rings.

What’s your favourite scene from the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy?

Please tell me your favourite scene from the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy, and, if you wish, I’ll capture it in a photo for you!

The Very Inspiring Blogger Award

I’ve been nominated for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award. Thanks to Aka Teraka for nominating me!

You can check out his blog here:

The rules of the award are:

Display the award logo, link back to the person who nominated you, state 9 things about yourself, nominate 9 other bloggers for this award and link to them.

Here Are 9 Facts About Myself:

  • I love to listen to music while chilling out in my room, and while writing poetry and stories in my notepad. My favourite song at the moment is Sufjan Stevens: Impossible Soul!

  • Everyone likes receiving blog awards… but I also like making them. I am the founder of The Silver Quill Blogger Award, and may make another sometime in the future! (I don’t think the Silver Quill was successful… there were too few people that had been nominated at the beginning, maybe? I did a Google search and I don’t think anyone has been nominated for The Silver Quill Blogger Award since September 2012 :-( … Anyway…
  • (This is a topical one :-) ) I do not mind frost… or snow really, because even know it is very cold, it is also very beautiful (Though neither get me out of school, as I’m home educated   lol :D
  • One of my favourite places to take photographs is Wolferton! Yesterday’s poet was a picture from Wolferton, and I’ve taken many more! I also loved the scenery at Deal, so that was a good place to take photos (There are lots of pics from Deal in my Photography Gallery if you want to check them out! Thanks!)

  • I love The Lord of The Rings! I’ve already watched the series once, and now I’m watching it again! :-)
  • I love writing poetry and stories, drawing, sketching and much more. I figure, that If I was at school, I probably wouldn’t be doing these sorts of things. Partly because I wouldn’t have much spare time, and partly because the school environment would probably give me more of an ego and I would consider it UNCOOL 8-)
  • I text A LOT! I first got a phone in 2008, to go to a Festival called “The End Of The Road”! I didn’t start using it much though since 2012! :-)
  • My favourite colour is black (yes, black). I like to wear black clothes… black hoodie, black trousers… so some might consider me a goth
  • I don’t make much of a fuss at all about Xmas… though I actually get a bit anxious, and stressed (Which probably isn’t normal or good for someone my age :-) )

And here are my nominees:

Congrats to all my nominees! ;-)

Sometimes- A Poem

“Leave!” I say.

My words sting my dry lips

I never knew of one,

Who broke his own heart

But sometimes…

One must do evil

To do good!

Above is a poem I wrote yesterday inspired by a scene in White Fang, the film:
