My Photography Blog

I posted a lot of photos I was very pleased with on Geo’s Art Photography Blog, but I think it is time to merge my two blogs now…

So I deleted my photography blog… all my photographs now I will post on my blog here! :-) That way, I’ll post more often, but just on one blog site.

My First Rap: “Trendz”

The Cover (designed by myself) for my new Single, "Trendz".

I haven’t been posting much recently. Thats because I’ve writing and working on a rap tune!

I have liked listening to rap for a long time, and I have written many poems (And after all, rap is poetry). So I decided to write my own rap. Have a listen to it on my blog “Geo-M’s Music Blog” here!

You can also check out my SoundCloud account here.

I hope you enjoy :-)

The Very Inspiring Blogger Award

very inspiring blogger award

I’ve been nominated for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award! Thanks to Jen for nominating me!

So, here are the rules of the award…

1.) Display the award logo on your blog.
2.) Link back to the person who nominated you.
3.) State 7 things about yourself.
4.) Nominate 15 4 ( :-) ) bloggers for this award.
5.) Notify those bloggers of the nomination by linking to one of their specific posts so that they get notified by pingback.

Ok, so seven things about myself:

1. I am extremely impatient… I often try to “run before I can walk”, as they say :-)

2. Racism disgusts me, and makes me feel very sad

3. I love to play on my Wii, especially Wii Sports Resort, Mario Kart, and Resident Evil (a zombie shooter; It’s pretty awesome :-) ) I’m looking forward to getting LEGO Lord Of The Rings!

4. A few of my favourite book series were His Dark Materials, Sebastian Darke and Percy Jackson. I am also currently reading the Kane Chronicles (written by the author of Percy Jackson), which are pretty awesome! Also, I am reading the first book in the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy, so with any luck, I’ll be finished them in a few decades :-)

5. I love Marzipan!!! :-) I got some for Christmas, and I’m now on the last packet  (I had two packets)

6. We never have cereal and milk for breakfast… haven’t done now for years. We either have Mum’s homemade yoghurt (I’m officially her yoghurt-making-apprentice now, btw :-) ) with berries and granola and coconut cream, porridge with maple or syrup, or egg on toasted bun with bacon. We usually take in turns to have each of these meals. Yoghurt, Porridge, Cooked Breakfast, Yoghurt, Porridge, Cooked Breakfast, but recently, It’s been so cold, we’ve had to stop out the yoghurt a bit! :-)

7. Our family eat very well… really all thanks to Mum and Dad’s research; reading books and going online. There are many secrets about food which many are yet to know, but I believe that people are beginning to realize that It’s not the fat they should be avoiding… It’s the sugar. Okay, so you probably think I’m talking crap, right? :D Well, believe me, I’m not! (BTW, If you read Woman’s Weekly (No, I certainly do not read Woman’s Weekly! … My gran does :-) ), you may have come across, a few weeks ago, a very interesting article on what I am talking about. Also, Mum has been reading a brilliant book, called Fat Chance. You really should read it. It is fantastic.

Anyway, enough rambling already :-) …

Here are my nominees:

Help Wanted Deciding On A Poem To Enter For Competition!!!

I’m thinking about entering a poem into a young people’s writing magazine, and I think It’ll be either Wenda And The Vendor or The Winged Child. I know, Wenda and the Vendor isn’t that good, but It is short, funny and quirky, In a similar style to the winning poem of last month :-) On the other hand, The Winged Child, is in my opinion, Is the best poem that I’ve written up til now.

Which poem should I enter? Wenda And The Vendor?… The Winged Child?… or would you choose neither of these? Please comment and give you’re advice and opinions! Thanks! :-)

Birdbath In The Snow- 3 New Photographs

Here are some photographs I took in the garden a few days ago. I’ve really had enough of snow now though, haven’t you? Okay, so the first day was pretty cool. Playing snowballs, watching the snowflakes fall. But the novelty sure does wear off :-) It’s been snowing down our way for a week or so now, and now It’s gone all icy and slippery, and the roads all gritty. (But I’m still glad I’m not in Romania… -15oC  )

Is is snowing where you are? Have you had enough of it too? :-)

Blogger Awards: Advice Wanted

Versatile Blogger Award Graphic

Hey! I’ve currently got three Blogger Awards to do… and they’re all the Versatile Blogger Award! What shall I do? Shall I combine the three awards in one post, and thank the three people who’ve nominated me for the Versatile Blogger Award. Would that be okay? Or shall I do them all individually? Also, the Versatile Blogger Award’s rules include nominating 15 other blogs!!! Especially If I do all three awards separately, I will likely not be able to nominate 15 blogs for each? Or is it okay to nominate blogs that you have nominated once before?

What’s Your Favourite Scene From The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy???????

Having started watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy all over again, I was inspired to take some pictures based on scenes from the Lord Of The Rings. This scene is based on where, in the third film in the trilogy, the Orcs attack Rohan, smashing through the doors with a battering ram, blowing up the walls with explosives, and last but not least, climbing up the walls with ladders. The ladders behind the battlements are King Theodon, Haldir (But I usually play him as Legolas, cos Legolas is cooler :-) ), and Gimli the dwarf (He’s awesome! Lol :D)

Orc Climbs The Wall

This was one of my favourite scenes in Lord Of The Rings.

What’s your favourite scene from the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy?

Please tell me your favourite scene from the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy, and, if you wish, I’ll capture it in a photo for you!

Who’s In Charge Project: Chapter 8- Anarchy

I think It’s probably about time I told you that I’m home-educated, if you didn’t know before :-) That means that I don’t go to school, and that I’m home-tutored by my mum! At home, we get to do lots more art and creative writing. We get to illustrate our projects, and sometimes, we’ve made them into lapbooks, in my opinion one of the best possible ways to set out a project! I also get to chose what I want to learn. I am very interested in how the government works, and so I did this project on it: Who’s In Charge. Here is chapter 8- Anarchy! (my favourite :D ) Enjoy!

What is Anarchy?

Anarchy means ‘without rule’ and is where there is no-one in charge. Everyone can do whatever they want and there are no rules at all. This may sound great on paper – however, there is one major difference between anarchy and the other forms of government; that is that anarchy has never actually been successful!

Why Anarchies Arise

Anarchy can arise when the government is weak and collapses or is overthrown. An example of this was in Spain in the 1930s during the civil war. The government was weak and was overthrown. Local Communists unities took charge and organized things without help or permission from the government. Large parts of Spain were run by anarchic groups and this helped people get on with normal lives during the war.

New Custom Civ Map Made Using ‘World Builder’

Bombing Stockholm

Civ Map

I am currently making my own custom Civ Map. Over 20 tiles wide and over 20 tall, this is the ultimate map. Rich in resources, and with vital resources in settling range of your starting point, this should be an excellent map to play your first game of civ! This map is a perfectly balanced map, containing desert, plains, jungle, grassland, tundra and snow. Wondrous mountains split the scapes and territories. Contains over 10 Starting Places For Players and over 5 City State Starting Places. A truly brilliant map whether starting in the future or ancient era!

Civ Progress

My favourite victory is certainly domination :-) And that’s what I’m aiming for on my current civ game! As Harun Al Rashid, I have conquered the empires of Bismarck, Sweden, Oda And Suleiman, as well as taking the capitals of Dido Of Carthage and Maria Theresa. All I need to do now to win the domination victory is conquer Moscow, Catherine Of Russia’s capital! It shouldn’t be hard, as I have St. Petersburg through a trade for 17.000 Gold, which in right next to Moscow (And within a Nuclear Missile’s Range certainly)!
