Snake Emerges From Storm

I did this piece of art after finding a dead grass snake on the road outside our house. Poor thing. He was probably just going to hibernate… or hunt. The wound was fresh too. Blood stuck to his skin in a gooey mess. He was completely flattened. So flat, I thought it was just a tire tread at first. I carried him into our garden and hung him round the neck of the Buddha statue to show of life and impermanence.

Amazing Encounters

We went to Thetford yesterday and had a walk at Lynford Stag after going to Waterworld. We saw a Sparrowhawk in the trees, and a little grey lizard which was quite camouflage indeed, skipping through the grass. We got right up close to the lizard and it didn’t move or hop away, it stood perfectly still. I suppose it thought I was a predator and it was playing dead.

Here are some pictures of the lizard:

Any idea what it is??

I guess some of my readers in Australia or Africa won’t think much of these encounters, but believe me, they’re quite good finds in England :-)

Hope you liked my entry. I will be posting some pictures of the Lizard soon!

Pictures Of Corny At Night

Here are some more pictures of my snake Corny. Click here for my last post on him.

Enjoy!

My Snake Corny (/Cornelius)

Here are some pictures I took of my lovely little corn snake- Corny. That’s not his full name, just a nickname. Cornelius is his full name. I wonder If we’ll ever get round to actually calling him Cornelius, because when he’s 6 feet long we’ll call him Corns or Neil ;-)

Davine- The New Serperior

Recently, i’ve had this great idea for a “Dark Serperior”. I then decided it could be a different species – and would evolve from Servine at Level.36 if holding a Dread Plate. I’ve called him Davine, meaning dark and divine. A bit like the Snivy, Servine and Serperior name meanings-

Snivy   =   Snake + Ivy

Servine   =   Serpent +   Vine

Serperior   =   Serpent +   Superior

Here is the moves Davine learns (in order) after he evolves at level 36:

Poison Sting

Venoshock

Spikes

Nasty Plot

Coil

Dark Pulse

Stone Edge

Focus Punch

Guillotine

Triple Punch

Hey! Wait a minute- Triple Punch! I don’t recognise that move! That’s because it’s not a move… yet. Triple Punch is a new move- which raises accuracy by 10-20 % with each attack. It is great used before you kill opponents with Guillotine!
